Wahu noted that her departed dad loved engaging with his girls, asking about boys they liked, noting that as a parent, she understood why her dad liked such topics.

“So many times I catch myself wondering if dad was still here, what would his relationship with my kids be like now? I can almost see my Tumiso talking to you about boys she likes and sharing her big dreams and desires with you

“Now that I’m a parent, I understand why. Good one dad! I can see you tickling Nyakio silly and her squeaking loudly as she ran away,” she wrote.

The mother of two also wondered how her dad’s relationship with hubby Nameless would have evolved.

“I wonder how your relationship with Monski would have evolved and if he would have finally learnt how to describe building designs in Kikuyu

“I can see us walking in the forest the way we often did, as we talked about life and all its twists and turns,” Wahu added.
