A video of Deputy President William Ruto’s aide, Farouk Kibet blocking a group of women from accessing the podium has emerged sparking mixed reactions.
The women were trying to join the DP who was dancing on the stage during the Nyamira County Economic Forum on Thursday, May 5.
Before DP Ruto addressed the crowd, attendees of the meeting were treated to entertainment as leaders joined the DP for a dance on stage.
However, Kibet was seen blocking a section of women leaders from accessing the stage with their pleas falling on deaf ears.
The no-nonsense PA stood in their way until the music died down and all delegates resumed their seats.
The video sparked reactions with netizens divided over Kibet’s role in DP Ruto’s camp.
Milly Kosgei: Leave Farouk alone if he says you are not seeing Ruto that’s the end of the story. He has done his job for many years.
Ochomba Warioba: The guy is working. In fact, learn something positive from Kibet. Power is seasonal. Once you have it. Make good use of it. A time comes when you can’t even whisk a fly away.
Charles Adams: This guy is good at executing his roles were you expecting the all tent to move to the podium with the deputy president.
Edwin Terah: That’s how Kikuyu’s will be stopped in case he wins, it will be a deals govt. Kalenjins feel entitled to loot Kenya.
