Media personality Tracey Wanjiru has resigned from NTV’s Teen Republic show after a five-year stint.
The presenter made the announcement during live show on Saturday, June 26 thanking the station for the opportunity.
Tracey noted it was unfortunate leaving the station after the long and beautiful journey but noted that she was moving to new and great things.
“So, today is my last day here with the team on Teen Republik. It has been a great five years on the show but today marks the end of a beautiful journey with such a great team.”
In the past years she hosted the show with her amazing co-host Martin Kimani.
“It is quite unfortunate but moving to new things,” stated Wanjiru.
Kimani commented on her exit stating he will miss her big time as the had generated a strong friendship bond in person and on the screens.
“It has been so long since I met Tracy and she has literally been one of my best friends. We have grown tremendously. We started this show as kids and now we have grown.”
He also wished her well as she proceeds into other new ventures.
“All the best to your new season Tracy because from here on, I believe the experience you have gained is elevation. You are only going to get better,” Kimani noted.
Tracey did not however, disclose her next destination but noted she would be superb.
Her colleagues at the station bid her a goodbye by preparing a beautiful cake and enjoyed it together.
“Thank you so much for all the love throughout the years. I love you so much. Teen Republik is always going to be home,” She wrapped up.
