The country’s top newspapers on Thursday, September 23 widely reported on the death of Nakuru doctor James Gakara whowas accused of killing his two children and turning on himself.

According to the daily, DP Ruto has picked top political experts to fine-tune his bottom-up economic model ahead of the fast-approaching 2022 General Election.

Some of the top brains in DP’s team include David Ndii, Raphel Munavu, Irene Asienga, Augustine Cheruiyot, and Mugambi Mureithi.

Others are former ODM member Josephat Nanok, Katwa Kigen, Barrack Muluka, Korir Singo’ei and Edward Kisiang’ani.

Kisiang’ani and communications expert m Muluka are in charge of packaging messages that resonate well with the hustler nation.

On the other hand, Nanok was tasked to coordinate Ruto’s economic forums while lawyer Korir Singo’ei handles legal and political affairs aided by Katwa Kigen.

According to the Swahili publication, former State House digital director Denis Itumbi and blogger Samwel Gatwiri have a case to answer in the fake DP Ruto’s assasination letter.

On Wednesday, September 22, Milimali Law Courts Magistrate Martha Mutuku said the two will have to defend themselves. .

The two were charged with publishing a falsified letter dated May 30, 2018, with the intent to cause anxiety to the general public contrary to Section 66(1) of the Penal Code.

Amani National Congress (ANC) leader Musalia Mudavadi has described the war between President Uhuru Kenyatta and his deputy William Ruto as dangerous.

Speaking recently, the leader said their fight could split the security forces which is dangerous for the country’s safety.

“It is unprecedented that there can be such division that affects service delivery. It creates a split in the Cabinet and in the civil service. It can be extended to the security agencies, which can be very dangerous,” Mudavadi said.

Kirinyaga Governor Ann Waiguru has hinted at joining the United Democratic Alliance (UDA) associated with DP Ruto ahead of the 2022.

While interacting with constituents, the county boss said the people of Kirinyaga will decide which party she will use to defend her seat in the coming elections.

The constituents could be heard chanting UDA in unison after the question was posed to them.

“You heard me? I said I would do what my Kirinyaga people want me to. I would like to ask you, which party do you want me to come to you with?” asked Waiguru.

The family of Nakuru doctor James Gakara suspected of killimg his two kids has dismissed claims that he has marital issues with his wife.

Speaking to the media, Roseline Odhiambo, his sister-in-law, Gakara had texted with his wife on th fateful day and asked her the best place to take their children for lunch.

According to the family, the two had even planned a trip to Thika on the following day.

Odhiambo further disclosed that the medic’s last message to his wife was;

”Don’t come over, the children and I will pick you in Juja on our way to Mary’s place.”

She added that she wasn’t aware of any differences between the duo.

“When we visited him in ICU on Tuesday, September 21, my sister was even praying her husband could recover so that he explains what happened,” she said
