Popular Tanzanian gospel choir, Zabron Singers have recently wowed Kenyans after they stately sung a Kikuyu rendition of their famous song Mkono wa Bwana.
The choir proves to many that the Kikuyu language has begun growing and expanding its boundaries to other national.
Zabron Singers showed their knowledge of the Kikuyu language recently after meeting Kenyan gospel minister Evelyn Wanjiru who had visited the country.
In a viral video that has since caused a stir online, the choir members in support of Wanjiru perfectly sung the Mkono wa Bwana song but in Kikuyu.
Just because they were not frequent Kikuyu speakers, one could easily note that they pronounced some words in a different accent.
Wanjiru could not contain herself after the choir’s great performance and went ahead congratulating them while speaking in Kikuyu.
