Kesses MP Swarup Mishra recently sparked outrage on social media after reportedly launching a TV set.
Several photos shared online from the event showed the MP cutting blue and golden ribbons tied across the 55-inch TV.
The now controversial event took place at Cheplaskei Peace Center, Uasin Gishu County.
The TV set came complete with a DStv dish providing multiple channels to subscribers.
A report by TUKO indicated that the lawmaker had promised the youth tha the would donate the TV set.
