Musician Mr.Nice born Lucas Mkenda has spoken out after grisly road accident that nearly took his life.
The bongo star assured his fans that he is recovering well and can walk around now.
Speaking at Mseto East Africa show hosted by Willy M Tuva, Mr. Nice said that the scenarios happened unexpectedly too fast.
The akuku kapanda baiskeli hitmaker further asked his fans not to blame the lorry driver for what happened because it was just bad lack.
“The lorry driver lost control of the car after his brakes failed. It really was not his fault. I remember our car rolled after it was it,” he explained.
He revealed that his ear was sliced off in the accident but thanked God for granting him a chance to breathe.
He said that the doctors looked after him and gave him the required treatment.
“The doctors looked after me and administered the treatment I needed. I will later undergo a CT scan to make sure I had no internal bleeding in my head,” the singer added.
The crooner thanked everyone who wished him well him and contributed in raising the hospital bill.
On Wednesday, March 17, Mr. Nice was left nursing severe injuries after a car he was travelling in got involved in a ghastly road accident.
The small car he was in got hit by a lorry along the Naivasha highway, Kenya.
The legendary musician was aboard the car together with his friends and were heading to a show where he was supposed to perform.
