KBC news anchor Shiksha Arora has revealed that she was robbed on Monday, June 21 at the Globe roundabout flyover in Nairobi.
Shiksha shared details about the horrifying incident via her Twitter account on Tuesday,June 22, she disclosed she was just coming from the re-launch of the Kenya Broadcasting Corporation (KBC).
The media personality revealed that tduring the attack she lost her personal items including her purse and mobile phone.
She narrated that it all begun when a random guy deliberately broke her side mirror and walked away at around 5.20 pm.
Shiksha then rolled down her car’s window in order to reposition the side mirror but seconds later another guy appeared and started banging on the passenger door.
The other guy managed to unlocked her vehicle’s door and reached for her neck and strangled her demanding for money and phone.
As I was looking to my left, the third guy slid his hand in through my window and unlocked my car, got into the back seat, grabbed my purse and asked for my phone, at this point in time I was in panic mode, couldn’t say anything.
“He asked for it again and reached for my neck, strangling me” she she wrote.
She tried all her efforts and managed to get some air and hooted loudly calling for help from other road users.
The thugs fled away with her pursue after noticing other road users learned about the robbery.
“As he was strangling my neck, I desperately gasped for air,I started hooting loudly to get some attention hoping somebody would help me. People started getting out of their cars and that’s when he let go and fled. He went with my purse but I am TRAUMATIZED that he attacked me.” She concluded
