The late former President Mwai Kibaki’s grandson Sean Andrew has thanked his fans for their love and support following his grandfather’s death.
The late former President was laid to rest in his home in Othaya on Saturday, April 30 in a culmination of a week of national mourning.
The late former head of state’s interment followed a State Funeral which was fully conducted by the Kenya Defense Forces (KDF).
Following Kibaki’s burial, Sean has thanked his fans for the support even as he comes to terms with the death of his grandfather.
Taking to Instagram, the fashion model shared a portrait of his late grandfather and captioned it;
“Tough day. Thank you all for the support,” he wrote.
This came a day after Sean sparked reactions with his unique way of paying his last respect for Kibaki.
While at his grandfather’s gravesite, took a spade from a military officer, poured the soil into the grave.
However, before leaving the gravesite, the model removed a ring from his index finger and threw it inside the grave.
