Nominated MP David Sankok’s first-born daughter, Elizabeth has recalled the moment she found her late brother, Memusi Sankok’s body.
Memusi is said to have shot himself dead inside her parents house in Ewaso Nyiro, Narok County following a confrontation with his dad.
Sankok is said to have in the country on Monday, May 2 and found his son at home, the MP had sent money for his son to report to school.
However, the young man is said disappear from home and show up on Monday but her dad insisted that he goes to school.
When the MP left for a meeting, the Form Three student at Kericho High School took a gun from his father’s bedroom, walked to another room and shot himself dead.
Speaking to journalists, Elizabeth recalled the moment his other sibling came back running after finding Memusi’s lifeless body.
The sister had bought ice cream for the deceased and she had sent his brother to take it to him.
“My little brother and I also went to pick fruits and also bought some ice cream on our way back. I also bought for him the ice cream. When we came back home, I gave the ice cream to my small brother to take to him.
“When my brother went to the room, he found his body and came back to tell me to follow him to see what he had seen,” she said.
Elizabeth rushed to the scene and found Memusi lying in a pool of blood, she then rushed downstairs and informed what has transpired.
“We didn’t hear anything because we were not in the house. He was okay when we left and had just talked,” she said.
Detectives are still investigating the matter.
