The robbers broke into the home of the army general situated in Iriiri Village in Iriiri Sub County, Napak District, North-Eastern Uganda on Wednesday, March 31 at around 12 am.

However, the report further indicated that the robbers abandoned the tractor in a nearby forest after it ran out of fuel.

Despite recovering the tractor, security agencies said they will trail the robbers and have them charged in the court of law.

“We are looking for them and they will be charged with theft and trespass,” said Michael Longole, South Karamoja Assistant Police Inspector.

This is the second time the army general’s home is raided.

About a week before the incident, neighbours said Gutti’s farm was torched by robbers who are yet to be identified.
