Reactions as Van Driver Hits 3 New Mercedes Benz Cars at Showroom Along Ngong Road

In what is considered an expensive accident, a van driver has rammed into three Mercedes Benz cars along Ngong Road in Nairobi.

In the Thursday, April 7 accident which was captured on CCTV, the speeding driver is seen running into the costly vehicles parked at a showroom, Mercedes Centre Limited.

According to the video, it all started after the driver veered from the main road.

He then steered the van towards the metal bars meant to stop vehicles from using the pavement located beside the showroom, but the racing car scaled through it.

The van then hit the three German luxury sedans, extensively damaging their front bumpers.

Nairobi traffic police boss Joshua Omukata said the matter was not reported to the Kilimani Police Station, which is located a few meters from the showroom.

However, Omukata said they will pursue the van driver for careless driving.
