Preacher and 2022 presidential aspirant Reuben Kigame is mourning following the death of his father, Richard.
In an update on Twitter on Sunday, February 13, the preacher shared the news of the passing of his dad, further attaching a brief tribute to his departed dad.
In his tribute, Kigame noted that his dad was in so much oain even though they tried their best to save him.
“It is with deep sorrow and pain that I bid farewell to the man that gave me physical life! Farewell Dad Richard! Even in old age, it is still hard to let you go
“You were in so much pain and we did our best, but maybe it’s okay to let you rest from it all in the loving arms of Christ whom you loved deeply in your simple way especially in the latter years of your life,” he wrote in part.
Kigame also promised to make his dad proud even in his absence, and taking good care of his mother.
“Go well dad. I will do my best to make you proud. You know I will take care of Mum and the family with the courage you’ve taught me to always have,” he concluded.
