A police officer recently narrated how his daughter took charge after he and his wife were diagnosed with COVID-19.
The officer, Joseph Epilu disclosed that he was diagnosed with the killer disease after treating malaria without any improvement.
The officer went for the test three days before taking his entire family to undergo the test.
His wife wife tested positive for the virus, while their three children turned negative.
As a result, Epilu and his wife decided to isolate themselves in one bedroom to keep their children virus free.
As the couple was in isolation, their 12-year-old daughter who had just completed her Primary Leaving Examination took charge of all responsibilities in the house.
“The closest member was my 12-year-old daughter Rita, she took care of us as if she was our parent
“She would prepare anything we asked her, did all the cooking and she would put the food at a particular place,” added Epilu.
