Peter Waweru: Cate Waruguru’s husband divorces wife of 10 years

Laikipia Woman Representative Cate Waruguru’s husband, Peter Waweru, has announced a divorce from his wife of 10 years, Zipporah Njoki.

Speaking during a recent interview, Waweru diaclosed that they decoded to go separate ways after failing to solve a number of irreconcilable differences among them being the consumption of alcohol.

He disclosed that they had tried to solve the indifferences even through their parents but it unfortunately bore not fruit.

On her side, Njoki said she opted to walk away after Waweru abandoned her to pursue Wariguru with intentions of making her his second wife.

She further alleged that the businessman gave her an ultimatum to accept Waruguru as her co-wife or end their relationship.

A report by Pulse Live dated Tuesday, May 18 indicated that Waweru and Njoki have kicked off the divorce process as required by the law.

Waweru also stated that his relationship with Waruguru commenced during a time when he was experiencing frustrations in his first marriage.

Waruguru was previously married to Nanyuki based lawyer, Kiprotich William Kiget.
