Pauline Njoroge is a media strategist who defines herself as a young Kenyan passionate about the youths and politics and an avid believer in African integration and pan-Africanism.
On the other hand, the beau is known as a stauch supporter of ODM leader Raila Odinga hence her moniker, ‘Azimio Blogger’.
It must be noted Pauline, hitherto a supporter of Jubilee Party, spent most of her time attacking then NASA candidate Raila Odinga on the run up to 2017 poll.
Being in the political space, Pauline has had her fair share of controversial and challenging moments.
In 2021 when Tourism CS Najob Balala revoked her appointment as a board member of the Tourism Regulatory Authority over a post she had published on Facebook.
Following Balala’s announcement of Pauline’s appointment, netizens shared screenshots of her post where she had questioned the importance of Nairobi National Park.
“By the way, how much revenue does the Nairobi National Park bring to this country? Isn’t there much more that can be done with it that will add more value? The only selling point of that park is that it is the only National Park in a capital city beyond that glamorous title what else does it offer,” she asked.
“The orphanage and the nature walk make economic sense. But the park? It does not make sense that in a congested city like Nairobi we can afford to have acres and acres of land in the name of a park whe city is literally bursting at the seams with people. We even have to hold discussions on re-routing the SGR so as to save a park that is economically redundant!”
CS Balala revoked her appointment saying the Ministry does not want to be associated with such people.
Pauline has also brushed shoulders with the who is who in Deputy President William Ruto’s political camp over the DP’s presidential bid.
For instance in February, Pauline engaged Kapseret MP Oscar Sudi in a heated war of words over a meeting between President Uhuru Kenyatta and the youth in State House.
Through her Facebook pages, the MP hurled unprintable words at Pauline accusing her of mobilizing the youth to the State House meeting.
“Pauline Njoroge, I have seen you taking the youth to StateHouse, which is not wrong because they are going to collect COVID-19 funds,” Sudi alleged in a snippet of the video.
An hour later, Pauline fired back at Sudi saying;
“Looks like the Statehouse youth meeting caused serious jitters in some quarters. Na bado! We just got started and insults don’t move us. When they go low we go high.”
Pauline has also had online duels with other top DP Ruto allies including former Kakamega Senator Boni Khalwale, Ruto’s PA Farouk Kibet, Malindi MP Aisha Jumwa among others.
Pauline has in the past been linked to two young gubernatorial candidates in August 9 poll. Recently, she has been linked to historian Levin Opiyo and would occassionally tag the historian the photos she posts on Facebook.
