Sol Generation artiste Nviiri Sande, popularly known as Nviiri The Storyteller has broken his silence barely a day after his ex-girlfriend Elodie Zone confirmed their break up.
Through his Instagram page, the singer kept mum on the issue and allegations levelled against him, further assuring his fans that he was okay.
“For everyone asking, niko sawa, thank you for reaching out,” wrote Nviiri.
As earlier reported on GOTTA.news, Elodie clarified that she broke up with Nviiri citing physical, mental and emotional abuse.
“Physical, mental, verbal and emotional abuse towards women is unacceptable. I want to make it clear that I am not dating Nviiri
“We just met in coast and the reason why I left him is the same reason that has come up as we are ‘respectful friends’,” she wrote.
Elodie noted that she is currently focuses on making money, noting that she is done with men taking advantage of young focused women.
“I have worked too damn as a woman to love myself. To be confident. To stack my money. To support those around me
“I’m tired of ‘well-known men’ taking advantage of women because we are focused, intelligent and authentic,” she added.
This came a week after Nviiri disclosed that he and his ex-girlfriend never wanted to publicize their relationship, adding that he never thought of being in a public relationship as it comes with its own challenges.
“We have been friends for eight years. We kept our relationship a secret for months without telling people we were dating. We needed to understand ourselves, are we strong enough for the public because they can be ruthless,” he told TUKO.
“Our decision was to keep it low until we were ready to announce it. It affects our brands in a way…will I still continue being Nviiri the ladies’ man, bwana pombe sigara, single man? Dynamics change. And for her, will she continue being the same role model? by the time people came to find about it, we were already confident about our relationship.”
