The country’s top newspapers reported how One Kenya Alliance (OKA) principals have been advised to work closely with Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) Party leader Raila Odinga.
The papers also highlighted proposed amendment of The Political Parties Act which would allow small parties to benefit from The Political Parties Funds.
According to this publication, Raila is the only candidate giving Ruto a scratch in the head.
According to Herman Manyara who spoke with Daily Nation, it’s an easy task for Raila to seduce and win over OKA principals given that already KANU party leader Gideon Moi has sided with the opposition chief.
He added that it would also be easy due to KANU’S unwillingness to desert its plan with Jubilee and focus on OKA. Thes chances are high owing to fresh plans in forming a coalition between Jubilee and ODM.
KANU nonetheless, has interests in forming deals with the OKA alliance.
OKA is now tasked with handling and convincing the independence party to walk out of Jubilee and put its total focus on OKA.
The One Kenya Alliance (OKA) principal have been urged by outsiders including President Uhuru Kenyatta to work with Raila Odinga if they want to be successful in the 2022 General Elections.
The OKA leaders are however adamant in working with Raila over betrayal and dishonesty claims.
Raila Odinga had only been offered to become Wiper party leader Kalonzo Musyoka’s running in 2022.
ANC party leader also noted that anything is possible in politics hinting at maybe possibilities in working with the former premier.
According to People Daily, Uhuru Kenyatta’s allies are working extra hard to ensure that the NASA leaders get back together for the next years election.
According to the leaders from Mt Kenya, working together is the only method to taking Deputy President William Ruto in the elections.
Even though the leaders have differences, they have been urged to wok together if they want to be successful in the next year’s election.
The Swahili publication reports that Raila Odinga has plans to convene a meeting with NASA leaders main agenda being working together in the 2022 elections.
Raila, while speaking in Vihiga on Sunday, August 1, revealed that he would be meeting ANC’s Musalia Mudavadi, Moses Wetyanmgula of Ford-Kenya and Wiper’s Kalonzo Musyoka for a talk.
The leaders have already walked out of the NASA coalition and started new formations.
Ford-Kenya, Wiper and ANC have already joined a new formation dubbed OKA.
