Reports from police station indicate that the officer reported the case at the station as soon as she noticed her money was missing.

The reports further disclosed that the officer did not reveal the exact amount of money stolen.

“She most likely feared attracting police oversight agency and anti-corruption agencies by not Indicating the amount in the OB,” the source said.

According to sources, quoted by TUKO, the senior officer only openly narrated to her colleagues about what happened.

Madam lost more than KSh 900k she had kept in her house. She said her house help carted away the money and vanished too,” the source said.

It is also reported that the officer had opened a door to door hunt for the house help in Kaloleni area where it was projected she would hide.

The officer later managed to trace the maid’s phone signal along the Nairobi-Mombasa highway.

The man hunt was then extended with traffic officers along the highway being informed and asked to stay alert.

“Madam tried to contact other officers along the way but so far no arrest has been made,” the source added.

According to a report by TUKO, the officer had returned to the station two years after she transferred.

During her comeback, she managed to win back her senior position.

It was reported that the woman is well connected with high ranks officers who protect her.

Not only complaints come from her colleagues but also from members of the public who dislike her leadership tactics.
