He urged citizens to endorse the document as it will bring peaceful transition in 2022

“The benefit that we will get from this document and the peace that is going to come as a result of all inclusive governance far outweighs all the issues that have been raised. The only way to have a peaceful election in August 2022 is to push this document to pass. The legacy for the president is a peaceful election. This is the only way,” He spoke when he accompanied Wiper Party leader Kalonzo Musyoka to the BBI Secretariat

Mutula during the same event told off Makueni governor Kivutha Kibwana who is a critic of the BBI and had gone to court seeking advisory opinion on the constitution amendment process

According to Kilonzo junior, his area governor was contradicting himself after endorsing the document and later on criticized it.

“There is rumour out there, governor of Makueni had moved to the Supreme Court. Although its his right as an individual to seek advisory opinion, most of you know that Kibwana is the one who read our resolutions in Kitui, we find it such a great contradiction yet he represented all of us in reading the resolutions,” he added.
