Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria has dismissed President Uhuru Kenyatta’s Sagana 3 meeting in a sarcastic social media post.
In an update on Thursday, February 24, the outspoken MP referred the meeting to a Nyumba Kumi gathering in the post where he sought his supporters views on the same.
“How was the nyumba Kumi meeting?” He wrote on Facebook.
Gissingah Gkay: He disappointed us again. We expected so much, but he said little with no significance in his speech. He avoided names like the plague. He could not say Ruto or Raila
Ben Mungah: We saw a father who came home to his family and started whining and shouting to his children on how the mother has become ungovernable
Carol Fredrick: Very resourceful for those who have ears, may God bless President Uhuru and protect him
Ken Odanga: It was characterized by unnecessary anger and desperation
This comes a week after Kuria admitted that he was still undecided on which presidential contender to support in the August polls, adding that both Kenya Kwanza Alliance and Azimio La Umoja were formed while he was ill.
“Personally, Kenya Kwanza was formed while I was in a hospital bed and so was Azimio, I will be crazy to say that I support things that were formed while I was ill. I just get anecdotes of what they stand for, I don’t understand them and I need time,” he said.
He also stated that he will not be defending his seat in the August 9 General Elections.
“I think I have served the people of Gatundu South for a solid nine years, and I’m proud of the job I have done there
“As of now, my single focus is to build a strong party that is going to assure a lot of people who are currently not very assured,” he said.
