Moses Kuria claims Chris Msando was killed by govt’s ‘system’

Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria has sensationally alleged that slain IEBC ICT Director Christopher Msando was murdered by the same ‘system’ that murdered Josiah Mwangi Kariuki (JM Kariuki).

Kuria made the allegations after complaining about a Gideon Moi supporter Weston Wanjohi who had allegedly threatened him with death over his stand against President Uhuru Kenyatta.

Kuria went ahead to share a screenshot of Wanjohi’s Facebook post which he captioned;

“Deep state using Harambee House blogger Weston Wanjohi to threaten me with assassination JM Kariuki style. And DCI will still not act on this. Like father like son”

When one Twitter user commented that Msando’s spirits will live to haunt him, the MP replied saying;

“Msando was killed by the same system that killed JM.”

Msando who was involved in the 2017 general election management of the KIEMS for voter registration, voter identification and results in transmission, disappeared and was found dead a few weeks before the elections in August.

His body was found at Nairobi’s City Mortuary a day after he was reported missing.

According to a report by The Standard, Msando was picked up from Nairobi’s South B on the night he died.

Footage from public cameras captured Msando driving his car towards South B but someone else drove it out and eventually to Thika Road where it was found two days later.

The car was dumped by someone else who according to the report pulled down the windscreen sunshade to conceal his identity.

The car occupants were likely picked by another vehicle after which Msando was brutally murdered.
