Former Nairobi governor Mike Sonko is a happy parent after his adopted son, Moses Gift Osinya, excelled in the just concluded Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE).
Through his social media pages, the ex-governor revealed that Osinya scored grade B- in the national exams, further thanking God for His mercies upon his son.
“After scoring an impressive 399 marks in KCPE four years ago, he proceeded to Lenana School in Nairobi for his secondary education where he has made us proud again by scoring an impressive B – (minus) in his KCSE,” wrote Sonko.
In a separate story reported on GOTTA.news, Osinya donated his personal stuff to a needy students after completing his exams.
He donated his textbooks, beddings, uniforms among other things to a needy form three student at the Lenana school where he studied for four years.
According to a video shared by his step-mother Primose Mbuvi, Osinya arrived home empty handed after which she explained that he had donated his stuff.
“Done with High School, pongezi my son. Someone donated all his books, beddings, uniforms and box to Form 3 needy student. Good deeds family,” Primrose shared.
Sonko also shared a lengthy text on his Instagram account congratulating Osinya for the achievement.
“Today was again a moment of great joy and a big milestone for us as a family when Master Gift Osinya completed his KCSE at the Lenana School. My son Gift, I am so proud of you, and truly grateful to God for the blessing you have been in our lives,” he wrote.
