Former Tahidi High actress Miss Obija born Veronicah Mwaura and her family have been thrown into mourning after her father Mwaura died.
The thespian’s father passed away on Wednesday night, March 31 at the Nairobi Women’s Hospital in Rongai.
It is reported that Mwaura succumbed to Covid-19 complications.
News of Mwaura’s demise was first publicized by his daughter Miss Obija on Facebook.
On her post, she explained how the death if her father left her heartbroken and it’s still hard to bear.
While paying tribute to her lovely father, she also disclosed that her mother had tested positive to the novella coronavirus.
Miss Obija shared a video which she had compiled some photos of her father and captioned revealing how the family is in pain.
‘‘I just want to hear your voice again. Daddy, you had my back, you believed in me. My first love. It’s hard. ‘Mum’ as you called me. I don’t know how to mourn you, you didn’t teach us that. Daddy Daddy. This is hard. Mum will be well, you kept on asking about how’s she is fearing. We couldn’t tell her when you left, She was fighting for her life too. Dad our friend ..this hurts. Mwaura’s family are in deep pain.”
According to Tuko, Miss Obija’s mother is currently admitted at the at the Nairobi Women’s Hospital in Naivasha.
Her friends and fans flooded at the comment section to condole with her.
