Controversial lawyer Miguna Miguna has taken a swipe at Central Organisation of Trade Unions (COTU) boss Francis Atwoli for inviting Congolese singers Coco Nyboma and Faya Tess for his private event.
In a social media post, Miguna took issue with Atwoli’s decision to contract international artistes for the gig noting that he should have assigned local artistes.
“Although I love Lingala music, this is the time when the COTU thief, @AtwoliDza, should have used the billions he stole from Kenyan workers to empower a Kenyan artist like Odongo Swagg, Kofi Makadory, or Embarambamba. But look how unpatriotic and uncaring Raila’s sponsor is,” Miguna wrote.
Through his Twitter page, the COTU boss shared a photo with the Congolese musician at the airport disclosing that they would be performing at his private event.
“At the arrival of Coco Nyboma and Faya Tess for the end year family and friends entertainment while we thank God for everything,” Atwoli wrote.
On the other hand, Atwoli’s daughter, Maria Atwoli shared a photo with Faya Tess and captioned it;
“You want To Bam Bam. You want to chill with the Big Galz….Faya Tess.”
