Former BBC producer Makena Njeri on Wednesday, June 23 penned a sweet message to mark best friends Michelle Ntalami’s birthday.
In her message, the Bold Africa CEO celebrated Ntalami, further thanking her for being a true friend and a support system.
“It’s always so easy and equally so difficult to describe our beautiful moments because only you and I would ever get it! You are such a constant in my life, a beautiful friend, an unwavering supporter and a strong believer in me,” wrote Makena
“Everytime I think about all the wonderful moments with you I light up and sometimes knock my head on the wall because we have seen it all.”
Makena further showered Ntalami with praises, noting that the past years they have known each other has been memorable, also wishing bigger wins and beautiful memories on her.
“The last couple of years together have been memorable and I have no doubt in my heart that this new year will only bring more laughter, adventure, more beautiful memories and even bigger wins. Thank you for the days you have held me down and for this reason I shine a light on you on your beautiful day because you will forever have a special place in my heart. Through you many have risen and because of you many people have found the courage to stand up for what they believe in BOLDLY,” she added.
This came two weeks after Makena unveiled a beer brand meant for the LGBTQ community.
In a statement while unveiling the brand, Makena noted that when one partakes the beer, it reminds them that the universe dances to the tunes of the bold ones.
“I went to the amazing 254 breweries to ask if they would be bold enough to make a beer that will change the lives of many people in the community because this will be a reminder that every time you choose to be bold the universe dances to your tune.
“I have tasted the bold beer and I have to say is freaking bold! Today I present to the world the Bold beer, everytime you purchase this work of art you will be changing someone’s life,” she wrote.
