Clara who acted as actress Natasha Ngige’s mother on the Citizen TV show disclosed that she is living with vitiligo.

She said she hired signs of the condition while still acting on the show.

“Before the show ended, I spotted some slight colouring on my hand. I wasn’t keen on my skin but later on, I came to regret it,” she stated.

Clara said medical expenses have become a burden to her and her family, especially for her daughter who she relied upon for support.

The inability of money for treatment drove her into depression as all her source of income was closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Vitiligo is a condition in which the skin loses its pigment cells (melanocytes) resulting in discolored patches in different areas of the body, including the skin, hair and mucous membranes.
