-A light moment ensued online after a Kenyan man threatened to curse Donald Trump if he messed up hi liquor

Kenyans make an interesting community of netizens that light up social media with humour.

What’s more, a Kenyan can contribute to any topic under the sun and “mourn more than the bereaved,” to the chagrin of those directly affected by an issue.

This was the case on Sunday, January 5, when President Donald Trump took to Facebook to hail the United States military might by quoting the huge budget for arms.

“The United States just spent Two Trillion Dollars on Military Equipment. We are the biggest and by far the best in the world,” Trump wrote, adding,

“If Iran attacks an American Base, or any American, we will be sending some of that brand new, beautiful equipment their way…and without hesitation!”

The update attracted mixed reactions, with the majority backing the president’s sentiments.

However, one Kenyan stole the show with a comment that injected fun into the otherwise grave matter of war.

The netizen going by the name NM Kahiga appealed to Trump to conduct the war in such a manner that he’ll have a view of the missiles being dispatched to Iraq but at the same time allow him to enjoy his muratina (Kikuyu traditional brew) in peace.

“Bro Trump, I don’t have any problem seeing a missile passing over my farm here in Kenya on its way to Iran. Just make sure you don’t mess with my traditional liquor (Muratina) that I am hiding on my farm.

And he made clear the threat:

Otherwise, my elders are preparing the worst possible curse,” wrote Kahiga.

The comment attracted hundreds of replies owing to its sheer hilarity.

Charlie Walker: NM Kahiga We are very accurate with our missiles, don’t worry. Send our love to the elders.

Kevin Gerrard: NM Kahiga Thanks for a great laugh. We needed it. Peace and love!

Tracey Ryals-Frazier: NM Kahiga Drink up and be merry. I promise to be accurate. Blessings to you and your elders.

Greg James: NM Kahiga, much love sent to Kenya from The USA ??. Bro NM Kahiga, you, sir, have won the Internet for today.

Dan Green: NM Kahiga, I’d be happy to send you a fresh bottle of whisky if President Trump accidentally spills yours!

Jessica Asbury: NM Kahiga … As they say in America, you are “cool as a cucumber. You, my dear sir, are more of what this world needs.

And when Charlie Walker took to extolling the accuracy of the American missiles, Kahiga saw an opportunity to ask for beer.

Charlie Walker: NM Kahiga We are very accurate with our missiles, don’t worry. Send our love to the elders.

NM Kahiga: Charlie Walker The elders are telling me they won’t mind having a taste of your best traditional liquor. Tell Trump to drop several barrels of beer in Kenya instead of bombs.

Tension between the US and Iran has peaked since the killing of Iranian General Qasem Soleimani on Friday, January 6.
