A newspaper obituary has gone viral on social media sparking mixed reactions from netizens.
In the obituary, the family noted that the deceased, Mueni Ngoto has been reunited with her father and her brother whom they referred to her partner in crime.
“Mueni has now been reunited with her beloved father, Anthony, and her partner in crime, Peter, and they can get up to their typical mischief where they left off,” reads part of the obituary.
The use of humour in the obituary divided netizens who had different opinions on the same.
A section of social media users questioned the family’s attitude towards the dead while others suggested that the message might have been misinterpreted.
On the other hand, another section argued that the message was written with love, further pointing put the family’s good attitudes towards death and the afterlife.
