Kenya Vs Uganda: Countries Duel after Rihanna Ignores UG in Africa Fenty Launch

A section of social media users drawn from Uganda ignited a war online after singer Rihanna snubbed their country in her plans to launch Fenty Skin and Fenty Beauty products in Africa.

In a social media post, the singer recently disclosed that the products will be available in the Kenyan market and seven other African countries starting May 27.

“I have been waiting for this moment! Fenty Beauty and Fenty Skin are finally dropping in Africa! Botswana, Ghana, Kenya, Namibia, Nigeria, South Africa, Zambia, Zimbabwe… We coming at you May 27th and that’s just the beginning,” she wrote on Twitter. 

However, following the announcement, Ugandans took issue with Rihanna for snubbing their country and going for Kenya sparking a fierce war of words.

It all started when Ugandan writer, Atim Charlotte claimed that there is no electricity in Nairobi, a statement that saw Kenyans descending on her mercilessly.
