Kenya has emerged among the top 10 most beautiful countries in the world, a report dubbed Natural Beauty Report indicated.
According to the report, Kenya was ranked at position six with a beauty score of 6.7 out of 10 points, all attributed to the volcanoes, coral reefs, glaciers and the tropical rainforest.
The report indicated that Kenya has eight volcanoes, five ultra prominent mountains, 630 square kilometres of coral reefs area and 411 protected areas.
It also has 536 kilometres coastline length, 170,887 square kilometres of tropical rainforest and 28 glaciers.
Tanzania comes at position 5 following other countries including Indonesia, New Zealand, Colombia and Mexico.
This comes a month after a report by the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) also ranked Kenya as the second most innovative country in Africa and 85th in the world.
Tanzania emerged third in the continent and 90th in the world, securing its position in the top 100.
Kenya has held the continent’s top performer record for 11 consecutive years with Africa emerging as the continent with the highest number of innovation outperforming economies.
“Many sectors have shown remarkable resilience, especially those that have embraced digitalization, technology and innovation,” said WIPO Director General Daren Tang.
