Actress and entrepreneur Catherine Kamau has clarified why she attended L’Oréal Paris high tea launch party but snubbed Fenty Beauty launch.
Interestingly, both L’Oréal and Fenty are international makeup and skincare products companies.
In a statement on Instagram, Kate disclosed that she attended L’Oréal launch because they paid her to grace the party.
“Sasa Fenty na L’Oreal kuna difference gani? Si ungeenda tu ya Fenty at least you could have shown them how to turn up to such events,” asked a fan.
The actress was quick to respond stating;
“L’Oréal has paid me.”
Through her Twitter page, the actress had said that she missed the Fenty launch due to an alleged conflict of interest.
The mother of two launched her own lip care line dubbed, House of Humba supposedly making it impossible for her to grace the launch.
“Not me missing the Fenty launch because of a conflict of interest. I mean, is #HouseofHumbaCosmetics a joke to you. Big dreams. Mark this tweet *#SaveYourCenty,” Kate wrote on Twitter.
The L’Oréal Paris high tea launch party was held on Saturday, May 28 and it was graced by among other influencers Celestine Ndinda, Wixx Mangutha, Sarah Hassan, Judy Nyawira and Jackie Matubia.
