There’s a high chance that you have googled to find out how tall US billionaire presidential hopeful Mike Bloomberg really is following the “Mini Mike” reference by Donald Trump on Twitter.
Trump appears obsessed with the former New York City mayor’s height and seizes every opportunity to demean him.
So how tall is Bloomberg after all? Bloomberg stands at 5’8” according to Google and not 5’4” as Trump has seemed to suggest after all.
But then, the billionaire’s height still falls below the US national average for men (5’10”).
Yet discrepancies surrounding Trump’s height are well documented.
For instance, Trump was listed as 6’2” on his driver’s license but a medical report released by White House physician Dr Ronny Jackson in 2018 had him growing an inch higher to 6’3”.
On a fair scale, Trump does stand quite tall on the world stage when compared to other international leaders.
He’s arguably about the same height as Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, who stands at 6’2”, but shorter than Serbia’s Aleksandar Vucic, who is 6’6”.
The UK, Prime Minister Boris Johnson, is 5’9”, while German Chancellor Angela Merkel stands at 5’5”.
Russian President Vladimir Putin is a reported 5’7”, while Chinese President Xi Jinping is 5’9”.
And what about our very own Uhuru Kenyatta? You guessed right. He is nearly 6’1’, about the same height as ex-US president Barack Obama.
