Joseph Hellon Now Describes Esther Arunga as ‘Foolish’

Kenyan jazz musician and head of the Finger of God Church Joseph Hellon has described former KTN news anchor Esther Arunga as foolish.

On Thursday, April 7, the jazz musician engaged a fan who mentioned Arunga while reacting to a video of himself and his wife.

“Every time I see you, Hellon, I never fail to remember Esther Arunga. Poor girl. She was just unfortunate,” Dol Muthini wrote on Facebook.

Hellon was quick to respond, maintaining that the former news anchor was foolish.

“Me too! She was such a foolish girl,” he responded.

Over the years, Hellon has been criticised for reportedly misleading Arunga out of her promising career after she met her husband, Quincy Timberlake through the musician.

To date, the jazz musician continues to deny the claims arguing that Timberlake was responsible for Arunga’s downfall following their decision to leave the country and relocate to Australia.

In fact, Hellon believes that Quincy used witchcraft to win over Arunga.

“Quincy was not only manipulative but he used witchcraft. He told me before he joined the church that he was using black magic and he wanted to practice witchcraft and he wanted to reform,” he said in an interview with NTV.

Quincy and Arunga met through Hellon and tied the knot in March 2010 and had their son, Sinclair Timberlake in December the same year.

“The reason I fell in love with Quincy is; when everybody had run away, apart from the very few; when everybody did not believe me, he stood by me through what I’d call the hardest and toughest time in my life,” Arunga said in a past interview.

Years later, Hellon cut ties with Quincy calling him a conman and cybercriminal shortly before Arunga and her husband left the country.

In September 2019, Quincy was charged with the murder of the child, to which he pleaded not guilty while Arunga was charged as an accessory.

Arunga said that her husband had used the healing techniques on the boy and had pressed his stomach repeatedly and thrown him against a wall.

In July 2019, Arunga pleaded guilty to being an accessory to the murder of her son, further admitting to lying to the police to help her husband avoid punishment.

She was sentenced to ten months in prison but immediately released on parole.
