Mwangi also disclosed that his son was named after freedom fighter Tom Mboya who was assassinated in 1969 by the regime he was serving.

“Today this young king turned 10 years old. Jabali Mboya is named after Tom Mboya, a freedom fighter and a progressive leader who was assassinated in 1969 by the regime he was serving

“Mboya once said, ‘I have news for you, there is no Superman (it’s up to us)’. We are the super Kenyans who will ensure Jabali’s and every Kenyan child’s future is secure,” wrote Mwangi.

The activist also wished God’s blessings upon his son, adding that he is the king of soft life and great puns.

“Jabu is the king of soft life and great puns. I pray to God that he shall be blessed and he shall never lack, or accept less so that he can fit in

“A better Kenya is what we must bequeath Jabu and his generation. Happy birthday to our son Jabu,” Mwangi added.
