Footballer Victor Wanyama and his brother McDonald Mariga have a car collection worth over KSh 70 million.
This is no mean feat for the two brothers who grew up in the dusty Muthurwa in Eastlands.
What’s even more pleasing is the fact, the car collection is a testament of the rewards of hardwork typified by the high income that the two made playing professional football abroad.
Notably, during his time at Inter Milan, Mariga made KSh 145 million a year while his brother makes a whopping KSh 226 million annually at Montreal Impact where he’s the team captain.

The two brothers have owned numerous Cadillac Escalades with Mariga first spotted with an Escalade back in 2015 while abroad.
The duo imported the Escalade into the country years back, a white one.
Mariga, Wanyama and their brother, Harry has been spotted cruising around with the SUV estimated to cost KSh 9 million.
Being popular with most celebrities both locally and internationally, the duo owns several Range Rovers which are estimated at least KSh 7 million each.
The duo have two Range Rovers in their collection, a red one and one that is matte grey.
Wanyama also had a black Range Rover while away in the UK playing for Tottenham.
Years back, Mariga made headlines after importing a red hummer into the country during early years of his football career.
In 2019, the retired footballer showed off the H2 Hummer while campaigning for the Kibra parliamentary seat.

Dodge Challenger SRT
Mariga first showed off the Dodge Challenger SRT in 2015 while abroad.
Later in 2021, the car was imported into the country and both Wanyama and Harry have since been spotted cruising in it.
The American made car is estimated at KSh 7 million.
Wanyama imported a custom Volkswagen van into the country for his family.
The van is estimated to cost at least KSh 15 million.
It boasts a luxurious interior featuring reclining seats, a drinks cabinet and a screen among many other features.
Mercedes Benz, Toyota Land Cruiser and Jaguar
Wanyama has been spotted severally driving a Mercedes Benz most valued at KSh 3 million during his time in Tottenham.
The brothers have also been spotted cruising in a Toyota Landcruiser estimated at KSh 7 million and a Jagua said to be worth KSh 2 million.
When all is said and done, the two brothers have shown talent plus discipline and dedication can be very rewarding.
