I moved out of my parents house at 18 – Maureen Waititu

Popular personality Maureen Waititu has wowed her fans after disclosing that she moved out from her parents home aged 18.

She revealed that at that time she moved to Mathare North and was still working as she started her hustling job when she was 16 years old and continued with the hustle as she always wanted to become a brand name in future.

According to Maureen, she work for many months at a church setting as a volunteer before making moves.

“I am a simple girl who grew up everywhere. Back in the day, as long as you were in a home, that’s your home. My mom lived in Ngara and my grandparents lived in Kiambu. My aunt and uncle lived in Thome so I was in between these places until I moved out when I was 18 years old,” she narrated during an interview with Terryanne Chebet.

She then worked as a waitress which helped pay rent at her Mathare North house but later moved after she had saved some money.

The content creator further disclosed that before joining campus she worked as a PA in a car company where she also learned how to drive.
