How governor Alfred Mutua’s birthday party went down

The Machakos County governor Alfred Mutua on Sunday, August 23 had a successful birthday party which was graced by family members, friends and celebrities.

The star-studded event was an all-white party to celebrate the governor’s 51st birthday and was held at the Ole Sereni Hotel.

Mutua, rocked a white army outfit with a touch of yellow and purple.

In attendance was the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) party leader Raila Odinga and his ex-wife Lilian Ng’ang’a.

Some of the media personalities at the event were, Comedian Churchill, comedian Eric Omondi, TV anchor Trevor Ombija, Homeboyz Radio’s Kelly Martin among others.

Mutua, while at the event noted that he was excited to have such a successful party revealing that it was his first ever birthday celebration in his life.

“I am very happy to see all of you here. This is the first birthday I have ever had in my life. I want to thank all the people who have been in my life. This is the first birthday party I have ever had in my entire life. Thank you all for coming. My parents, my sister, my teacher my pastors, my friends,” Mutua said.

He also thanked the opposition chief Raila for attending his birthday party.

Such a tremendous honour to have former prime minister Rt. Hon. Raila Odinga celebrate this momentous occasion with me amidst his busy schedule.Thank you Baba and be blessed,” he said.

His ex-wife Lilian Ng’ang’a could not be left behind, she attended the party dressed in a beautiful black dress and blue six-inch heels.

During his speech, he noted that being happy and always being there for each other is the best thing in life.

Life is about sharing and caring and keeping no grudges and lifting people up and moving on with life. I am in the second half of my life. I am very have happy especially because of the blessing of God,” He said

He also took chance to thank singer Rayvanny whom they had a joint party together for gracing the event.
