A matatu crew in Nairobi sparked a debate on social media after exposing commuters who reversed fares paid through M-PESA.
In a video that was widely shared on social media, the crew printed names of the said commuters and posted it inside the matatu.
The poster listed four names and a message that read;
“No reversal. Wezi wa kureverse pesa through M-PESA.”
Sharing the video, brand influencer Brian Mutinda wrote;
“Imagine uingie kwa nganya vizuri halafu upate jina yako kwa list ya wezi wa kureverse M-PESA.”
The video sparked reactions with netizens made of the individuals exposed by the matatu crew.
