Former Mombasa Senator Hassan Omar has called out Suna East MP Junet Mohammed after assaulting his Mvita counterpart, Abdulswamad Sheriff.
In a viral video, Junet could be seen engaging Sheriff in a heated exchange shortly before he pushed away his head in contempt.
The scuffle started when Abdulswamad, who was the programmer of the event rejected by the audience, who shouted, and hurled objects at him.
The MP is seen seeking advice and help from Mombasa Governor Ali Hassan Joho but the county boss is seen responding aggressively and yelling back at the MP inappropriately.
With no time, the two were joined by Suna East MP Junet Mohamed, who also appeared upset with the MP.
Omar has now called out the Suna East MP over his actions towards Sheriff arguing that the coast region is not ODM leader Raila Odinga’s stronghold.
He added Sheriff performed well in school unlike Junet who scored a D grade.
“Kuna dharau flani sisi hatuwezi kukubali, leo kuwe katika rally, watu wapigane, kijana afe alafu zaidi ya hayo itokee picha ama video ya madharau na kejeli ambayo eti Junet anamwambia Abdulswamad, ‘man up’. Hawa watu wanatufikiria vipi mpaka mtu afike stage anafikiria anaweza kufanyia mmoja wetu hivo
“Na huyu Junet huyu, hizi jeuri zako hizi utakuja kuzijua wewe. Unaweza kumfanyia Abdulswamad hivi. Tulikua na wewe Lenana, Abdulswamad alifuzu, we vipi upitie Lenana alafu upate D bana,” Omar said in a video.
