Netizens have thronged social media to mark the return of Stella; a character in musician Freshley Mwamburi’s popular song dubbed Stella Wangu.
In the song, the singer recalls how he sacrificed everything so that Stella, a woman he loved dearly, could get a chance to study abroad.
However, to his surprise, Stella arrived back to the country with her diminutive Japanese lover and their baby.
For this matter, Kenyans take to social media on the 17th day of May every year to mark Stella’s return with hilarious memes and funny videos.
