Drama ensued in a local road in Nigeria after former captain of Professional Football League side Heartland, Julius Ubido blocked the club’s bus over unpaid salary.
The footballer who is currently playing for Warri Wolves crossed Heartland’s team bus with his car forcing players and officials to alight to find out what was happening.
Ubido justified his actions arguing that he was owed salaries by his former club.
Following the stand off, Heartland players and officials were forced to take motorcycles to the match venue ahead of their match against Ubido’s Warri Wolves.
Barnabas Ekechukwu: Right message sent to the wrong people with wrong approach which will backfire
Kindness Akuchukwu: I laugh Nigeria in Spanish language what a catastrophic nation
Kezy Okany: Julius Ubido’s ‘reaction ‘ seems to be the only language the State could possibly understand. Suffering for those who enriches themselves at the expense of poor players. I thumb him up right
Maryclen Oyegeni: Julius Ubido’s action supported 100%. Without such embarrassment, he wont be given any attention and the media will not be aware. Kudos to him
