A final year student, Elvis Asante Krobea, at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology in Ghana wowed many after marrying two days before sitting for his final exam.
He shared the story on his Twitter page while explaining how it was easy for him to manage the two events.
“So I married on Saturday, September 4, did the thanksgiving on Sunday, September 5, and rushed to KNUST on Monday, September 6 to write the end of semester exams,” he recalled.
He further disclosed that their honeymoon took place right in the institution and was one of a kind.
“Honeymoon in the exams hall. What a hard guy, a hard lady and a hard God! We have to safeguard the first class too,” he said.
According Elvis, a strike by the University Teachers Association of Ghana complicated everything leading to his marriage set to have happened a week earlier altered.
“The wedding was planned a week after the exams but the UTAG strike complicated things and we couldn’t have changed the date,” he mentioned.
