Ezekiel Mutua weighs in on Mukhisa Kituyi’s alleged nude video

Kenya Film Classification Board (KFCB) CEO Ezekiel Mutua has shared his sentiments following the alleged viral nude video of 2022 Presidential candidate Mukhisa Kituyi.

Taking to his Twitter account, Mutua condemned such behaviors reminding members of the public that no one is allowed to share naked films of others without their approval as they would be going against the Films and Stage Plays Act Cap 222.

“Making videos of others while naked, with or without their approval, is a breach of the Films and Stage Plays Act Cap 222.

“No film or class of film for public exhibition shall be made without a filming license from the Board.” Now you know!” He wrote.

In a separate tweet, in what looked like Mutua took sides with the former UNCTAD boss, he noted that sharing nude videos of such a respected man showed how low the society had sunk.

“Dr. Mukhisa Kituyi is a globally respected intellectual powerhouse and one of Kenya’s best leadership brands. He’s an elder, a husband and a father. To drag his private moments – real or perceived, into the public is evidence of how low we have sank as society. SAD!“.

The 2022 Presidential candidate Dr Kituyi has been trending online for the wrong reason as from Thursday,June 17 after his alleged nude videos were leaked.

In the video, Kituyi could be seen completely naked and deep asleep. A lady drinking juice with her leg on his thigh could also be seen.

It remains unclear when and where the video was filmed but it is easily noted that they were in a hotel.

Social media users went ahead sharing different comments concerning the same

Former governor Mike Sonko hilariously reacted to the video wondering why Kituyi in his right senses would doze off and leave his side chic on with a phone.

“Some men are very useless and big for nothing. Unawachaje dame na simu kwa pekejeng?” Sonko said
