Ezekiel Mutua on the receiving end over careless remarks on Kenya vs Egypt football match

Kenya Films and Classification Board (KFCB) boss Ezekiel Mutua on Thursday, March 25 got himself on the receiving end over his remarks on the Egypt versus Kenya football match.

In a statement just a few minutes after the match ended, the KFCB boss mocked Harambee Stars for losing the match in a tweet that elicited mixed reactions.

Mutua said the country should turn its focus to athletics and not football.

“Mbona sisi hujilazimisha mpira? Si we just stick to running!” Wrote Mutua.

The tweet sparked outrage with netizens accusing him of thrashing other people’s talents.
