Comedian Eric Omondi recently sparked reactions after disclosing the amount of money he spent on the outfit he rocked to singer Bahati’s album launch.
Speaking with a local publication after the launch, the funnyman disclosed that the outfit cost him a whooping KSh 102,000.
Eric noted that the earrings he wore are worth KSh 2,300, his top and shorts KSh 87,000 and his shoes KSh 16,000.
“Artists love saying stuff so that they can trend. Bro this thing cost me KSh 102,000, from top to bottom
“My hair alone was KSh 4,000. I have dressed in more than KSh 102,000 and I will send you the receipts,” saod the comedian.
Singer Bahati launched his album in a star-studded event held at Nairobi’s Trademark Hotel.
Speaking at the event, Bahati explained that he had maintained silence on ditching the gospel industry because he was rebranding.
“I did not want to have to answer questions that I could not yet explain, but I believe after the release of this album, I will be in a position to talk-on the journey from the gospel industry to the contemporary industry, and I appreciate my brothers and colleagues in the scene for helping me through,” he said.
The album has a total of ten songs with features from Nadia Mukami, Jovial, Rayvanny, Jazmine and Sat 8.
