DP Ruto visits UDA digital strategist Dennis Itumbi in hospital – PHOTOS

Deputy President William Ruto on Tuesday, December 27 visited digital strategist Dennis Itumbi at the Nairobi West hospital where he is receiving treatment.

According to photos, the DP could be seen having a chat with Itumbi and a doctor.

DP Ruto later made a social media post wishing the digital strategist a quick recovery.

“Pole Dennis. Get well soon. God is the Almighty,” he wrote.

Itumbi was allegedly abducted on Thursday last week along Kiambu road and beaten up before being abandoned on the roadside naked in Kasarani area.

Itumbi’s brother, David, shared photos of him in an unnamed health facility, appearing badly beaten and bruised.

“My brother has been badly beaten. We thank God that he is alive. On his own account, he was arrested by police and beaten and tortured

“This is the state we found him in. Please pray for his recovery. Asanteni for your many prayers and support,” his brother David tweeted.

According to a statement issued by NPS Spokesperson Bruno Isohi Shioso, police launched investigations into the incident.

“A report of alleged abduction of Mr. Dennis Itumbi was reported at Thindingua Police Station Post vide OB 10/23/12/2021 AT 1540 HRS

“Police have since launched investigations with a view to the circumstances surrounding this incident,” the Police spokesperson stated.

After his exit from state house in 2020, Itumbi joined the Deputy president wing and has been playing the role of a blogger and a communication strategist.
