DP Ruto: I learnt Luhya to fight off men who wanted Rachel

Deputy President William Ruto has recalled how he had to learn the Luhya language to win competition from Western Kenya men who wanted Rachel.

Ruto said that having known little of the Luhya language, he identified a Western Kenya Member of Parliament snitching and criticizing him.

He narrated that after the little knowledge he opted to learn more of the language just to secure the love of his life from men who eyed on her.

“I had no choice other than to learn Luhya because i was losing out. I did not want to lose out. I never like losing.” DP Ruto said

While narrating the story at at interview with comedian Jalang’o, Ruto said that the MP used the local dialet to advice his people to eat his donations but luckily he understood every bit.

When I took the stage to speak, I told them if they follow their MP’s advise, they will be the ones who will lose not me,” he said.

Ruto further addressed reports that one of the buses he had donated at a school was repossessed saying that it was untrue and plotted by his political rivals.

“I am above these people (rivals) intellectually and so they are plotting this kind of things. You remember they were always questioning about the source of my donations and when such a tactic failed to work, they came up with such propaganda,” Ruto said.
