Donald Kipkorir hits at Murkomen’s after clash over BBI, claims his parents live in a mud house

Controversial city lawyer Donald Kipkorir has called out Elgeyo Marakwet Senator Kipchumba Murkomen for allegedly failing to build his parents a decent house despite his huge earnings.

Taking to Twitter on Wednesday, October 21, Kipkorir elicited mixed reactions after claiming that Murkomen’s parents reside in a mud house.

“It is truly sad that one who was once majority leader and whom I financed in his first run in 2013 now thinks because of money stolen from Arror and Kimwarer, he can abuse me.

“This is a man who despite stealing millions of Arror and Kimwarer is yet to build his parents a house. This is a man who had nothing in 2013,” Kipkorir wrote.

The lawyer also said that the lawmaker’s parents are squatters at Embobut Forest despite the Senator’s ability to ensure his parents live a comfortable life.

“His parents are still squatters in Embobut Forest and living in a mud house whilst my Senator is busy distributing wheelbarrows and Boda Boda,” the lawyer claimed.

He also disclosed that before joining the government in 2013, Murkomen had nothing and no one knew him including President Uhuru Kenyatta and his deputy William Ruto.

“Before 2012, he (Murkomen) was in a gov’t task force courtesy of Raila Odinga. In 2013, he had no car and Uhuru Kenyatta and William Ruto had never heard of or met him. I financed his 2013 campaigns and he only opened a law firm after 2013,” Kipkorir added.

Murkomen laughed off the claims stating that the lawyer will be remembered for organising parties locally and abroad.
