”#TBT Took this photo in April 2008 in Scotland. This was an interesting week for me. I went to Scotland to ask Debs dad for her hand in marriage. This was an interesting experience for me because here, in my culture, it’s the parents and your uncles/relatives who go to the in-laws to ask for marriage. I was freaking scared because I was alone, no crew to back me up, I didn’t know how to do it, and what his response would be.” DJ Moz disclosed.

He revealed that he had to spend sometime at her in-laws home trying to figure out how he would approach the girl’s parents .

He said that he broke the news to the family during his last day in Scotland.

Luckily he was not disappointed as the girl’s parents accepted him to the family.

Her entire family knew why I had travelled to the UK and wondered why I was taking so long to ask Debs’ mum, Dad and aunt dropped hints, but I was too nervous. I finally got the confidence on my last day in Scotland. Woke up just before her dad left for work, and I asked him for permission and he said yes (bravo Moz and good timing),” he added.

The two have been married for over a decade now after their official wedding.
